Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Had an initial phone screening interview to discuss my background/interest in the position. Following that, I was invited into firm's Boston office for in-person interview. It consisted of 4, 30-minute individual interviews with people on the institutional sales team (MD, Director, VP, and VP).

Everyone was friendly, especially the MD and Director (ironically enough). Within the institutional sales team, the guys are driven and smart. They don't have blue-chip backgrounds, but it seemed like they worked extremely hard to get where they are.

I was told a few weeks later that the position went to an internal candidate. This was the one negative aspect; they took what seemed like FOREVER to get back to me (~5 weeks).
