Online application only requires your CV and some basic information. The entire process and communication was professional and without any issues. First round consisted of two interviews at analyst/associate level. The second round consisted of two senior level interviews and a group case study and presentation. All the interviews heavily focused on behavioural questions and were led on a very personal level. The case study was the most challenging activity, but still manageable. The people and culture seemed very pleasant, yet the big offices were not very lively or interactive in contrast to other fund managers. I would suggest future applicants to have a very clear understanding of your role and why you want to work there inside out! You have to know the company and what is unique about it. Blackrock heavily focuses on whether you are a cultural fit or not, especially on your ability to work in a team. Make sure you convey this in the group activity especially.
