What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
First, you do the hirevue. They do NOT change these questions, I believe it remains the same year to year. BlackRock reviews these submissions after the deadline. If you interview with the Accelerator, you will get a first-round email or a rejection about a week after the deadline, at least it was for me.
Second, you have a brief 30-minute first round interview with one member of the team that you are applying to. It takes 2-3 weeks to receive a Superday invite after this.
Third, a Superday. Around 3-4 rounds of interviews depending on the size of the group that you're interviewing with. Keep in mind, you can interview with more than 1 group. For instance, if you did well in Securities Lending group and the Alternatives group, you will receive Superdays for both.
