First round was on campus with two senior members of the division, each of whom was not looking for a summer analyst (think they just wanted indifferent people interviewing so they could be best judge for rist round). Very focused on your personality (which was great and comfortable) and then VERY focused on why BlackRock, why investing, are you interested in investing (they want to make sure your not some robot who memorized a few things). Know about investing, economics, macroeconomics, portfolio theory, private equity, hedge funds, have a stock pick
