Overall the process was very pleasant, the team was nice and genuinely cared about fit more than anything.
It started with a one on one chat with the partner that leads the group within Credit. Following this conversation, pivoted to meeting the MDs on the team and several principals that were expected to overlap with the role. Total of nine, 30 minute zoom interviews in one week for a process that was moving quickly.
Technical skills were not really tested as the role was more process-oriented ahead of the launch of a new fund. Some MDs did press on overall finance knowledge, testing of knowledge of current events, etc. The group had all been at BXC for some time, they were very cohesive in their description of the role and what was expected.
