Please describe the interview / hiring process.
BX was the first ever IBD I interviews for, but also the most difficult (even with hindsight). First two rounds were phone interviews with second-year analysts, and was a blend of technicals, brainteasers, and a little bit of fit. Superday was five consecutive half-hr one-on-ones, mostly with VPs.

This was by far the most technical bank I interviewed for - be prepared for anything to be thrown your way. Also, know the markets well and be prepared for in-depth discussions on any industry you happen to mention.
