Global Markets Summer Analyst

I submitted an online application as soon as the job posting opened up in August. There are two online games, just do your absolute best as they're very short. I heard back a few days after submitting the tests with an invitation for a video interview about three weeks later.

My interviewer was nice, we had a bit of a delayed start but we spent about 40 minutes on the phone. It was largely behavioural, but there were a few random mental maths questions and of course some questions about the markets, but all relatively basic.

About two weeks after the video interview, I was invited to the first assessment centre.

The AC was in London. First was a paper test, with one hard riddle at the start then some relatively simple maths/logic puzzles. Next, you were called for either a group project (very simple, just try to be nice and not overstep) or a one-to-one interview where you are provided situations and have to say how you think they will impact the markets.

Unfortunately, despite saying it was a rolling process, we had to wait for the results of the second assessment centre. I was called exactly one week after the second assessment centre (3 weeks after mine) and offered the job.
