- Received an email a few weeks later for an in-office interview. The in-office interview consisted of 7 interviews with Associates, VPs, and directors of the group. Questions consisted of the typical background questions (listed above). One interview had a case study: If you were to assess the credit worthiness of a company, what information would you ask for. You were expected to list out every piece of important information you would want. Additionally, LBO questions were asked (very high level). In general, the interviews were moderate in difficulty, however you were expected to know your tehnicals down pat.
- About a week later, I was approached by the VP via email about conducting a case interview. The case interview consisted of a few page invested memo about a company. You were expected to list out advantages and disadvantages in lending to the company, along with giving a financial overview of the company. The case study was a hour in duration.
- A week later, I was invited for a final round in-office interview. I met with 5 managing directors, and all of the interviews were behavioral/high level. At this point, the group most likely had an indication of who the wanted to hire, and they wanted the MDs to check the box.
