Off-Cycle Analyst

After applying on the bank's website, I was called back by the Director two weeks later.
I had a first "surprise" phone interview directly with him. It was mainly about my understanding of DCM in general and some basic questions (walk me through a FCF, balance sheet, income statement). A few business questions on how retail companies work (it had nothing to do with the internship, but hey).
Following that I had an interview with the VP, basically just fit : how do you work under pressure, why DCM, what interests you in finance...
And finally an interview with the analyst : a lot of fixed income questions, macro, current ecb policy, inflation...
The HR callled me two days after to know if i was available, i declined as i had another offer.
