Structured Finance Analyst trainee

The hiring process for a trainee is composed of several steps:
- Step 1: 3 interviews with 3 different peoples (the same day) asking me to present myself, describe my studies and asking technical questions about the Oil & Gas sector (what are the main risks, how can a company hedge itself)
- Step 2: A small case study where I had 30 minutes to prepare the presentation. The case study consisted of the analysis of the financial reports of a company with the overall objective of determining if we can lend them money or not (explain which criteria, ratios to use, what to look at)
- Step 3: 1 hour excel test where I had to do a quick modeling to estimate the cashflows.
- Step 4: 1 hour interview with the HR about my motivation, my studies.
