Business & Planning Analyst

Boeing has a behavioral interview process. They ask the exact same questions to every candidate, take notes, and compare answers. These types of interviews can be very easy if you put the time in before hand to study all the possible types of questions. I was interviewed by the finance manager, 2 associates, and 1 HR rep. They sat kind of in a circle with me at the head of the table. Each interviewer took turns asking me their pre-set questions. Given that it The interview was much more casual than expected coming from the interviewers. There was a lot of good discussion about answers I gave. Being very careful to learn if it was the position I wanted, I asked a lot of questions to figure out the type of work I would be doing. Going into it I thought it would be more like an fp&a job for a division. I realized in the interview that it was basically helping project managers stay within their budget. Unfortunately I learned that there wouldn't be much strategy or analysis involved with the position. By the end I knew I wouldn't accept the position if offered and they could see right through me. It would be an ok place to start right out of school before getting an mba, but I have been working for a couple of years and wanted something that was more strategic.
