Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The first round of the interview process was a phone screening with a recruiter. This initial conversation was structured to include a mix of behavioral questions and an open discussion about the company culture at Bridgewater Associates. The recruiter provided an overview of the organization’s unique principles-driven culture, emphasizing radical transparency and meritocracy. They then asked me to reflect on what I had heard about Bridgewater’s culture prior to the interview and invited me to assess whether I believed I would align well with their work environment and values. The recruiter also included a brain teaser as part of the screening process.
