Contacted by headhunter that described a culture of finance "entrepreneurial rebels." Headhunter went out of his way to describe the inclusive and unique culture at the firm (with more than 1 prep call), sending me documents for me to read and encouraging me to watch videos at company website. After taking personality tests online (these take about 1.5-2 hours to do), finally had phone interview scheduled. Interview lasted for 25 minutes and focused at getting to understand you at a deeper level than what a resume may say at first glance (i.e. why did you move from Company A to Company B? What was your logic? What were the values you applied to take that decision?). The phone interview seems to be more of a "check" that you are interested and willing to handle tough questions; I do not think many people get disqualified at this stage because it seems that they want to you have that first phone experience before bringing you in to their offices for further analysis. Two weeks after call I went to their offices in CT for an in-person interview. Can't describe details as they make you sign NDA but it involved presentations about the firm, a group discussion, and intelligence tests. After group discussion told to go home (no 1-1 interview).
