I was referred to the company by a mutual friend. There was then a one hour phone interview where they asked me about different activities on my resume and what I liked to do. The interviewer kept probing me as to why I do different things to get a sense of how I think. There was then a final set of three in person interviews - a tech interview, a discussion interview and a culture interview. The tech interview was a pretty standard tech question, the discussion interview was a group interview where you pick a topic out of a set list to discuss, and the culture interview was to see how you fit into Bridgewater's unique culture.
