The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
I interviewed at Brookwood Associates in February 2019. I was given behavioral questions to start and then transitioned into a skills test. I was given public financials and asked to build a DCF from scratch using no internet. I was also asked to build a sell-side teaser with any company I wanted to. I did not receive an offer.

Very simple process. Went through on-campus recruiting. A managing director of the firm came in to talk with interviewees.
Interview Questions
The entire process was mostly behavioral with essentially no technicals. It was a very small group so the managing director was looking mostly to see why I wanted to join that group, why I would like to work in that office since I had never demonstrated interest in that city. Much of the conversation was about the managing directors experiences with the group and some recent deals she had gone through. Nothing really difficult or unexpected, but it was clear that certain ranges of answers were expected.

Interview
Typical campus recruiting process. Dropped my resume on school's career service website, and I was invited to the first-round interview. I didn't hear back from the interviewer for a couple of weeks, and I was eventually informed that I had not been invited for a Super Day interview.
Interview Questions
All of the questions that were asked during the interview were expected, meaning they were all typical Investment Banking interview questions (i.e. the three financial statements, different valuation methods, etc)

The interview included one on-campus interview, and one "super-day" at the office. Met with all (or close to all) professionals at the office. Interview was mostly behavioral, as they are looking for how well you will fit with the firm as a whole. One or two senior bankers asked some technical questions, but nothing was really too tricky.
Interview Questions
Asked a lot about growing up and high school development. Wanted to know parents' occupations, grade school experiences, etc.
Why do you want to live in Charlotte? What are your ultimate career goals? What entices you about the Middle Market?

It was an OCR with one freshly minted analyst. He recently moved from Training the Street to the firm, and he was awful. Basically walked through my resume and started talking about the firm. He was into luxury retail, which I did not even bother to ask.
Interview Questions
Tell me about yourself.
Why IB?
Why our firm?
Boutique vs BB?
It wasn't hard, but I felt that he should not have been the one interviewing for the firm. He has started working less than 2 month. He went on to compare Brookwood versus JPM's back office, and I had to sit there and nodded my head.

The process was very well run. Interview consisted of mostly behavioral questions with a few technicals. The guys at this office are close and seem to be looking mostly for people who will be a good fit, and for people that intend to stay in Charlotte long term.
Interview Questions
Walk me through your resume. Other general behavioral questions. There was a heavy emphasis on high school experience, as well as leadership roles in college.
Explain your family background. Seemed to be interested in what my parents did for a living and where they came from. Nothing too crazy, but definitely a little unique compared to other IB interviews
I've had.

Interview
Brookwood recruits regularly at my school for both interns and full time hires. They generally hire from two or three schools in the North Carolina area. I had a phone screen with an associate that was completely fit, and then an on campus interview with an analyst. This was also almost entirely fit if I remember correctly. The superday was more intensive, with 7 or 8 interviews. Two or 3 of them specifically were designated for technical questions.

Ultimately I did not receive an offer because there was a fit mismatch. Regardless I thought they were a great group of guys and seem like good people to work with. I would say it's a solid place to start your career if you're interested in the middle market.
Interview Questions
Fairly basic technical stuff that the interview guides will answer. Honestly the hardest part was one guy who's job it clearly was to pick apart your resume and ask probing questions. A little unsettling, but it's important to remain calm and take your time.
