Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The interview process began with a standard 20-minute phone screening focused on my background and general fit. This was followed by a final round with two senior-level professionals, specifically a Senior Investment Director and an Associate Investment Director. The conversation was largely centered on a comprehensive walk me through your resume style of questioning with a specific focus on why I was pursuing an Associate level role. Overall, the experience was relatively standard for the industry. It was neither overly aggressive nor too informal, requiring a solid grasp of my past deal work and the ability to discuss my professional trajectory clearly with high-level leadership.
