Interview
The summer analyst recruiting intake is run by Dartmouth Partners. So in the beginning of the recruiting process, Dartmouth Partners does a 15 minute phone call, then if they like you, they schedule a 30 minute video interview. It's usually the same Dartmouth recruiter that was in the phone call that does the video interview.

From there, those in the top of the Dartmouth shortlist move on to the "first" round with the actual Campbell Lutyens team. For me, this first round was with an analyst and an associate back to back interviews with about a 15 minute break in between interviews. One interview was more about culture/market understanding where you get asked basic culture questions along with questions regarding the actual GP landscape (i.e. who are the leaders in secondary investing, what do you know about dry powder currently, what do you think are the sectors getting the most investment currently). The other interview was pure technicals. Both lasted 45 minutes.

Then, those that perform well have another set of interviews, for me it was with an analyst and an MD and the interviews were also scheduled for the same day with 15 minutes in between. This is basically the "final" round. In both of these interviews they only really check for culture fit as by now you would have already passed the technicals and the market understanding portion.

From here, about 1-2 weeks later and you get your offer.
Interview Questions
The question that caught me off guard the most was in the market portion of the first round interview where an associate asked me who the market leaders in secondaries investing were and if they were public or private.

It started with 3 party recruiter interview, some techicals, some behav and lasted for 30 minitues. Then the team contacted me to scedule a second round and then supderday. it was basically 1-2 interviews with 2 interviewers. The interview format was pretty much like regular banking interviews. But they as a some situational questions so there were no right or wrong answers, as they just want to see how you react. overall the expeirence was great
