What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied online for a London summer internship. First round was a short recruiter phone screen focused on CV, motivation, why the firm and why the specific team.
Second round was a 30-40 -minute video interview with a mix of commercial and technical questions.
The process was well organised and the interviewers were friendly but the second round was definitely more challenging. Best advice is to understand the team properly, know a few recent transactions, follow private-markets trends and be comfortable with core finance technicals.
