Since I was ill when the on-campus interviews happened, the recruiter graciously let me reschedule my first round case interview to be a phone interview. The case interview was very straightforward and talking to the Senior Manager who was giving the interview was really enjoyable.

The final round was in McLean, VA and was amazing. I really loved how much everyone cared about the company during the interview. Even my limo/SUV driver to and from the airport was super excited for me interviewing for the company. The interview day was pretty long, starting at 8:30 am and ended around 11:30 am. I had 2 case interviews and 1 product management interview.

The case interviews and the interviewers varied in their approaches to test me. The first one gave me a pretty convoluted case that took over 10 minutes to explain, but the approach was fairly simple and he helped me through the process when I asked questions. It's really important to ask questions and show that you are excited by the prospect of a challenge. The second case interviewer was silent as I walked through my approach for solving for break-even points and would only write down comments as I explained. When I caught my calculation error, he merely nodded and just confirmed whether the final answer was correct.

As for the product management interview, it was pretty enjoyable to talk about the 10 ways I would improve a household object. I would recommend practicing this because it is pretty hard. I didn't come up with all 10 ways immediately off the top of my head, but I would talk to him about a few approaches and then would ask for a minute to come up with more based on our conversation. There were other parts of the product interview, but I don't really remember them, but I assume they went well.
