History of CAPS

CAPS originally began in 1991 as Talent Associates with a primary focus on music payroll. In that decade CAPS continued to expand its services, adding theatrical film and television payroll services, and East and West Coast atmosphere payroll. In 1999 our full-service Los Angeles office opened.

In 2001 CAPS added its LA-based live action commercial and music video payroll services as well as services for live venues and music tours. In 2008 we opened our full-service New York office and in 2009 launched LAjit, the cloud-based entertainment payroll accounting system. In 2011 our web-based payroll data entry system, CAPS Pay, came online.
