Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I received an email from a recruiter thanking me for my application and asking to schedule a phone interview. The first round was a short 20-minute conversation with the recruiter, mainly focused on my background, my interest in real estate, and whether I was open to different locations. It was pretty relaxed, but I made sure to show that I’d done my research on CBRE and understood the basics of property management. A few days later, I was contacted to set up a second interview with a senior property manager. That call was more in-depth and lasted about 45 minutes—they asked about how I handle multitasking, how I’d respond to tenant concerns, and what I knew about building operations or lease documents. It felt more conversational than formal, and I appreciated how transparent and friendly they were. There wasn’t a third round for me, but some people I spoke to later mentioned having a short call with a regional director depending on the office. After a week, I got a call with the offer and some follow-up emails about onboarding and background checks. Overall, the process was really smooth, and everyone I spoke to was approachable and professional. The culture came across as fast-paced but supportive, with an emphasis on client service and problem-solving. If you're applying, I’d recommend being clear about your interest in real estate, brushing up on your basic understanding of property management, and showing that you're proactive and organized
