Interview
The application process consisted of a cover letter/resume drop. The first round interview was conducted over Skype with the hiring manager, who seemed to be based in Beijing, rather than in Hong Kong, where the position would have been located.
Interview Questions
1) Asked about my top three strengths and weaknesses in Chinese. Definitely stumbled there, and was probably the weakest part of my overall interview-- 100% sure that this question was what tanked me overall.
2) Walk me through your resume. Very typical of a banking interview.
3) Followed up with a few questions about the extracurriculars that I was in on campus.
4) Surprisingly no technicals were asked of me.
Overall: Interviewer was a bit curt, but may have been more of a language issue (we also Skype-called) than anything.
