Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I dropped my resume via on-campus recruiting and Cornerstone's website. I was contacted within the week and invited to a first round interview. Each of my three interviews was with a current analyst and consisted of 10 minutes of behavioral discussion, followed by a 20 minute case derived from the analyst's own work experience. These cases were simplified versions of their actual work, and did not follow the typical management consulting case format, so studying for those will not be of very much use. They focused primarily on basic microeconomic concepts, and concepts related to statistical analysis and regression design. Cases focused on patent infringement, stock price correction after a disclosure, anti-competitive agreements, etc. Most of these cases were structured as, "X group is suing Y client for damages, why are their claims potentially exaggerated or flawed?" I was invited back for a final round consisting of five interviews, four of which included 10 minutes of behavioral and 30 minutes of case, one of which included 40 minutes of purely behavioral discussion with a senior employee.
