Equity Research Summer Analyst

Applied online. Received notice that I got first round in late November and completed skype interview one on one with an analyst. The week after I got a call with an invite for second round that would take place in two weeks (mid December). I got flown up to NYC the day before. Had a dinner at the firm the night before where I met with analysts from different divisions, including one that I ended up interviewing with the day after. Next day I had two one on one interviews with division heads. Recruiters called the following week with an offer. None of the interviews were very technical. They were just interested in learning about the experiences I had in my campus organization, research projects, and previous internship. Also asked me to pitch a buy and a sell, they were happy with a high level argument that included macro trends.
