Investment Banking Summer Analyst

I contacted the MD in September (Cold called), had an informational interview with two Senior Associates in October. I then had a first round interview over the phone on January 3rd. The first round was all technical and no behavioural. First asked what I-banking was, what bankers do, why I want the summer analyst position, who the CEO was, Oil & Gas prices, Valuation types and the one that gives the highest value, EV & Eq.V, DCF Walkthrough, FCF calculation and a multi step accounting question scenario.

I was invited to Houston a week after for their super day in Houston. There was a dinner/drink event the night before and had an interview with about 12 people from 1:30-5:30. This consisted of mostly resume walk through and mathematical puzzling questions and "what do you do for fun"-esque questions as well as what sparked my investment banking interests.

I received an offer the following morning.
