referred for informal chats and meetings in the office. lots of phone interviews too when things got more serious. more formal office visit later. had to interview with several md's so all could say they were involved in my hiring. i think the decision comes down to how much people like you. getting in front of the team means you're already qualified. now they need to decide if they can stand spending 12 hours a day with you.
