Please describe the interview / hiring process.
There were two 1x1 interviews. The first was with the deputy head of the department, and had little to no technical component to it. The focus was on business and financial theory (What does a good business look like to you? Why might one company trade at a higher multiple than another?) with a single stock pitch. The second was a deeper interview with more technical questions and a few broad theory questions. The largest portion of time was spent on a question regarding business drivers (What do you think the most significant drivers are in the airline industry?).
