Summer Investment Banking Analyst

After sending in a resume and cover letter, I received an interview notification. Interviewer was very patient and helped give hints to some of the more difficult questions. The interview lasted for a total of 30 minutes. Was invited to the corporate dinner afterwards with three analysts. Very friendly culture during the interview but the analysts were not big conversationalists at the interview. For future interview candidates, I recommended practicing long calculation questions related to EV and EBITDA. Know how stock options work and the effects that they have on the valuation of the firm. Company also does not call formally to reject you but instead will leave you hanging for weeks.
