Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The process was extremely disjointed and unorganized, which is illustrative of the Company. No clear process existed and in the late-stage of the hiring debacle, previously agreed upon comp package was adjusted negatively without an opportunity to discuss or address the changes. Once the the adjustment issue was brought up, a particularly robotic and bureaucratic senior employee took over as the point of contact and acted completely adversarial, disregarding any and all attempts to address the comp issue. Compensation, career track, company values and culture, and other important factors were misrepresented during the interview and feedback process. And as an added bonus, they attempted to assign laborious projects about a month prior to the agreed upon starting date. Of course, the work was expected to be completed for free. Do yourself a favor, and stay away unless you really need the job, or think it could be a springboard to better opportunities. Yes, it is that bad.
