Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Pretty uncommon process for me personally: Was connected with the bank via a school alumni at the beginning of the summertime, who then forwarded my information to HR. After summer of networking, applied and was sent a request to complete a skills assessment (accounting, M&A, valuation, general finance Q's.) After this I was invited to complete a personality test, then an intelligence test.
First formal interview was virtual with a senior banker, asked me a wide array of both technical and behavioral questions. None of the technical questions were beyond my capabilities, I'd say they were typical WSO guide Q's. Behavioral side was the same, good opportunities to showcase my background and get to know the more experienced staff.
Second interview was the super-day with three junior bankers and one senior banker. Format was two 30min interviews with two people for each interview. First interview was really focused on technical Q's but had lots of opportunities to ask questions about the firm and the culture. Second interview was similar to the first, with more focus on behavioral side "why banking, why this group, why our company, tell me about a deal we've done" etc. Both very enjoyable interviews.
