Interview
Phone interview by all analysts. Technical interview comprising financial ratios and important metrics for fixed income securities. Tested basic financial knowledge on fixed income financial instruments. Questions on macroeconomic events and environment, especially with regard to Fed interest rates and economic data coming out of the US (Non-farm Payrolls, Unemployment levels, Initial Jobless claims, etc)
Interview Questions
Describe the process of bond origination. As an intern interviewing for the debt capital markets position, i only knew basic financial concepts such as calculating value of bond using interest rate and coupon rates. I did not know the process of bond origination and was expected to know concepts such as coupon rate tightening, market sounding, syndication and relationship between the capital markets and the bank's relationship managers (this was to do with sales and allocation of fixed income securities in the event that the there was excess demand for the bond offer size)

First you get a call from HR two weeks after submission, then one-on-one meetings with the hiring manager and HR.
Interview Questions
I think the questions were fairly simple and straight forward. As it was a sales role, there were close to no technical questions at all.
Most questions were mostly personality question and cultural fit questions like strength and weaknesses. Others were told to sell the hiring manager a pen and i think that would probably be the hardest question in the pool already. Apart from that, it was more of the hiring manager explaining more about the role and selling the role as the role requires you to work alot.

Interview
Got called up and asked to arrange a date for a case-study. Was given 24h to prepare and submit the pitch before arranging for another day to head down for the presentation.
Interview Questions
Interview questions were fairly average with the walk-me-through-your CV and what-do-you-know-about-us questions. More emphasis was placed on the case-study presentation we were given to prepare.

Had received the case-study question and given 24hours to prepare and submit it the previous week. When I went down to present it, I was quizzed mostly on the methodology I used throughout the case study and why I chose to use said methodology.

Was also asked about my view on the current trade war between US and China.

Interview
2 Rounds of interviews with the team, containing technical questions as well as behavioral questions. If you pass the test there would be a 5 hour modelling test.
Interview Questions
Questions were neither difficult or unexpected. Sample questions asked were on basic valuation, such as explaining the DCF, how to obtain the various parameters in the DCF. Fit questions involved asking questions such as tell me about a time where you displayed leadership, tell me about your personality and how it would fit to the team. They were also quite relaxed in asking what you do on weekends and what you do for fun. Generally the team wants to be able to know you are both technically capable and likable.

Went through the video interview where I was given a time to read and record my answers. No reply from company after this.
Interview Questions
Tell me about a time when you had to think outside the box to complete a task
- wasn’t prepared for such a question, but you can mention about a time when you took initiative

Discuss one or two ideal projects that you would like to work on in our company and consider how they are strategic
- I thought questions were going to be competency based. So this question surprised me.

Tell me about a time when something went wrong at work/ project you took control of
- had to talk about a negative experience but turn it into a good ending

Interview
Received an informational interview with a senior management after a referral.
Followed by a few follow-up calls, an HR behavioural interview, and also a written test (technical knowledge).
Finally a third round interview with line manager(s).

Interview Questions
Behavioural questions on my background mostly. Why banking, why the switch from my previous job, why I majored in a completely irrelevant area, my aspirations, my interests.
Technical assessment was not easy. Requires preparation although there is very minimal material regarding corporate banking online. Would recommend speaking to a person currently in the industry to prepare for these kind of tests. Basic accounting and financial analysis skills require. Ability to write eloquently in a limited amount of time.

asset applying online I received the links to various aptitude and personality exams that had to be completed online. they were all timed and had various sections. following that came a thirty minute long phone interview.
Interview Questions
this was more of a conversational interview hence there weren't as many technical questions. A question that caught me off guard was why would I choose them over another company that was essentially identical to them where it was difficult to distinguish between the two of them.
