Interview
The interview was okay-ish. There was a referral and that led to two interviews.
The process started with a VP asking about my previous experiences and a lot of time drilling into my CV. Then, he went onto the basic questions like describe the DCF process, the components of balance sheet of a bank. This was primarily a screening round with few technical questions.
Then the next round included brain teasers, the typical depreciation question (flipped to decrease in depreciation by $10), working capital, leases and SOTP with conglomerate discount question.
For interview candidates, the advice is to master each point of CV , be razor sharp in fundamentals/ brain teasers and keep track of current events
Interview Questions
The most difficult question was the brain teaser. You have two empty bowls and 100 balls—50 white and 50 black. Your task is to distribute all the balls between the two bowls in any way you choose. After the distribution, one bowl will be selected at random, and then one ball will be randomly drawn from that bowl. How should you distribute the balls to maximise the probability of drawing a white ball?

Interview
The interview consisted of a call with a recruiter, one behavioral interview with a VP in the FIC franchise and a virtual superday that consisted of one 30-minute behavioral interview with a director and a case study (1 hr and 30 minutes) presented to two directors. The case study was relatively simple, focused on lending to a middle-market corporate.
Interview Questions
Most of the questions were typical, IE "Why do you want this role?" "Tell me about the markets." The case study was also relatively simple.
