Three rounds of interviews: 1 with an analyst, 1 VP and 1 MD.

The interview was a mix of fit based and technical questions. Technicals were not about stressing you out, but more about really understanding if you could handle the job.

Technicals were fairly basic, such as effect of a change in a line item across 3 statements, steps of a DCF, etc. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Fit questions were to try and ensure that you will get along with the team, as it is quite small. What I really liked was that people were very upfront regarding what they expected from you and what you expect from the job. For example, they point out that they are very focused on maritime finance at the very beginning. This is to ensure that the internship is in line with your expectations.

Overall, I found the interview to be a very pleasant experience where they were genuinely getting to know the candidate.
