Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied online by submitting a CV and cover letter. The process included three behavioral interviews:

A 30-minute interview with the hiring manager.
A 45-minute interview with two associates, which included a case study.
A 45-minute interview with a director and VP.

All communication regarding scheduling and next steps was managed through the hiring manager.

Timeline:
The hiring manager reached out within a month of submitting the application to schedule the first interview. This initial interview lasted 30 minutes and consisted of rapid-fire questions such as: Why Dodge & Cox? Why this program? What role do you take in a team? Describe a time you received criticism.

The second interview, held three weeks later, lasted 45 minutes and included a 10-minute case study alongside behavioral questions like:

We are a company with an entrepreneurial mindset—how do you feel about taking on extra work outside of your internship projects?
How did you handle a time when you didn’t get along with a teammate?
How would your professors describe you?
Give an example of a time when you had to learn a skill quickly. How did you approach it?

The third interview occurred one week after the second. This interview also focused on behavioral questions, but the interviewers pressed for more detailed and specific examples.
