What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
15 minutes interview with the analyst on the team (private capital advisory). Was more of a screening/informational interview than an actual first round. The questions were:
1. Tell me about yourself/Walk me through your resume.
2. Why Evercore
3. Why the PCA team?
5. What are GP-led secondaries/talk about GP-led secondaries?
6. Who are the major players in the secondaries space?
7. Are you able to work in a fast-paced environment in a niche IB group?
I thought the interview went decently well but haven't heard back since so might have gotten dinged. Read up on secondaries market (Secondary investor, coller capital, know the difference between LP-led and GP-led and major players in the space and any trends).
