Investment Banking Summer Analyst

So the process started for me when I reached out to a few people at the firm and begun networking. They had a virtual banking seminar with a few analysts so I made sure to apply to that and was accepted in March. I asked good questions at the seminar, and when later reaching out to thank someone from seminar, they said left a good impression and would receive a first-round interview shortly. A week later, I got the first round interview which was a phone call with an analyst and all behavioral (tell me about yourself, why investment banking, why evercore, strengths/weaknesses). Second round interview was over Zoom with an associate who asked medium-high level technicals. A week later, I got invited for in-person superday in NY park ave office. It was four 30-min interviews in a 2 hour block. My second interviewer was kind of an asshole and asked some very in-depth technicals on the Gordon Growth model. The fourth interviewer I had asked me a lot of valuation questions. I got asked how the three statements connect, but not another single accounting question the whole superday. Ended up being rejected unfortunately.
