Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had chatted a lot of people from my school at the firm due to the fact that they came on campus to host an event, we did a firms trip to the NY office, and I had a lot of friends who warm connected me to analysts and associates there, which allowed me to get a referral for first round. It started with basic behaviourals (TMAY, why this firm, why banking). The technicals were also a good mix of conceptuals, math (M&A math, paper DCF), and industry knowledge (recent Evercore deal, industry trend). I unfortunately was not able to get a second round so I can only speak to the first round process.
