Please describe the interview / hiring process.
First week of march started with an (DIVERSITY) invite-only networking event, where ~15-20 students got flown out to the office to meet a few MDs, and chat with about 1/3 of the AN1's. There was an application for this online, but it seemed like the only way to get accepted was to know someone and they will vouch for you. This seemed like a screen for applicants, but we never shared named/ turned in forms or anything to identify ourself, so unsure. I don't consider this a group interview, but others may.

The application has no personality test/ background check/ drug test/ IQ test, just a standard attach resume+cover letter, and fill in the blanks.

The day after the networking event, the applications opened up and about 2 weeks later, first round decision emails were out and it was over Zoom. The zoom interview was 2-1, where you are matched with 2 associates and are asked standard behaviorals and technicals that are used to filter candidates. The technicals were accounting based, and needed some back-of-envelope math to solve for the change in deppreciation. The 2 people that interviewed me had previous engineering background, and seemed energetic to help out with the recruiting process.

The day after the FR, the superday decisions was next day and was scheduled for 2-3 days after the FR. The superday was ~2 hours long, with 4 individuals, each about 30 minutes. First was an Associate that asked about 60 % technicals and 40% behaviorals. This person was friendly but didn't seem like they willingly volunteered to help interview. Second was a VP that asked about 50% tech 50% behavioral. This VP was very relaxed, and had a great energy, probably volunteered to help. Third was an MD that only asked behavioral questions, and absolutely volunteered to help recruit. Seemed very humble and down to earth, easy to talk to. Lastly was another associate, and they asked about 80% technicals that were very intense and required lot of math. I didn't get them all right, but talking through the question seemed to be in my favor. The associate was very locked in, but also extremely welcoming and friendly. I would behappy to work with this guy.

Advice : If you are solid on your technicals, you have nothing to worry about. If you didn't study your technicals, just fake sick and don't show up. The MD asked about company values, and I was lucky enough to know them and have a fruitful conversation about them. Every person I had asked about my interests, and we spent at least 5 minutes talking about cooking/ jazz music (except the last associate).
