Summer Associate Intern

I was in touch with a friend who was an incoming first year analyst at the firm. He put me in touch with HR and I was invited to a reception for the firm in the middle of July. I was then contacted for a first-round phone interview in the beginning of August and then for a final round in the middle of August. The interviews were very technical (Walk me through a merger model, accretion / dilution problems in both all stock and stock / cash / debt scenarios, walk me through an LBO, talk about the main drivers of an LBO, paper LBO)
