Please describe the interview / hiring process.
There are four rounds of interviews and a superday. The first round is a 15-minute Zoom chat with an HR. They ask you TMAY, why FTP, and to talk about an FT deal. The second round is 30 minutes with an analyst. This was 90% technical, and the questions range from $10 of depreciation on the three statements to the three drivers of an LBO. The 3rd and 4th rounds are a combination of technical and behavioral questions, with some resume grilling added in. You should also prepare a fintech vertical you're interested in, a company within that vertical, and a deal - preferably by FT. For the superday, you'll have three 1-hour interviews with two associates and one MD. They're all a combination of behavioral and technical.
