Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Initially did a phone interview with HR after applying for the position on their website. HR asked basic things like "why did you apply", what skills do you have, what kind of pay are you looking for. Keep in mind this was an entry level position. After that, was brought in for 1 on 1 interviews with 4 team members, separately. They asked many of the same questions plus quizzed me on Excel and some bond math. Described the role, my function, and how the team operates. Clearly they cared more about personality and general aptitude than having specific skills (again, entry level). Questions about ambition had to be carefully weighed since clearly no one works at a Rating Agency to crush it on Wall St.
