Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Contacted by HR for a phone screen. Senior analysts conduct many phone screens and each bring one candidate in, mix of fit and technical. Final round is with portfolio managers who focus on your interest for the position and company, your investment knowledge, stock pitches, weaknesses, and investment philosophy. Some portfolio managers just care about fit and will ask about your background and personality while others will ask technical questions. Because there is training I would say the non technical part is more important as the group is very close-knit.
