The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Reached out to a personal connection and forwarded my resume to HR. Spoke with HR and a manager of the team I was interested in joining
Interview Questions
Why Franklin Templeton? Explain what an ETF is, explain the difference between actively managed and passively managed mutual funds. Pitch me a stock. Why do you want to work in our office? Have you had any previous experience working on the buy side? Why asset management over other divisions within the financial industry? What do you know about our team and what do you think are ways that we can be more efficient? Can you tell me about an experience where you had to lead a team in academics or extra curriculars?

Interview
The interview consisted only of questions about my resume and behavioral questions. The HR recruiter was very easy to talk to. However, the pay offered ~$43k a year was disappointing. Futures Associates get switched around in different departments and I felt that I wouldn't have enough in-depth experience in the department of my interest. So, I declined the second interview round (which was supposed to be before the HR recruiter and 2 directors).
Interview Questions
Tell me about a project/time where you failed and what did you learn from it? When you do this, remember to give a really good self-reflection on how you learned from that situation and what you will do in the future to avoid that from happening.

Interview
The interview process consisted of a phone interview (initial HR screening), an in person interview (this was possible because I live in the area) and a final round panel interview. The interviews were 100 percent behavioral which was surprising. In the last round of interviews they also have a writing sample you need to complete. The entire process is on a point scale. Each interview consisted of ten questions and you answers were judged on a scale of 1-10 on each question.
Interview Questions
Define integrity and what it means to you. This through me off because it was the first time I have been asked to define a word in an inteview. Directly after they asked me to define it they followed up with the question "Name a time where you have shown integrity" which is prepared for.

All of the other questions were typical behavioral questions. Leadership, teamwork, competitive drive, strength, weakness, etc.

One of the tougher ones was "Name a time you were a leader, the type of leader you were, AND what you could have done better"

Interview
First, there was a one-on-one on-campus interview, which was almost an information interview. The biggest hurdle was the group interview with three interviewers. One was a senior manager, another was a middle manager, and the last was someone who was in my position a few years before. There were background/resume/story questions, then very basic computational questions, then why investment/finance questions.
Interview Questions
None were really difficult. The most unexpected question was how did X unrelated finance job impact who you are and how does that relate to your interest in our industry today?
I just explained that the unrelated job led me to figure out what I didn't like to do, but that some aspects of it that I did like led me to learning more about investing. More importantly, some of the competencies of that job related to those of investing.

Presentation
Interview
30 minute on campus interview at MBA program, with two students selected for final round. Final round at San Mateo, with several one on one interviews and stock pitches to two panels. People at the firm were really nice, and it was one of the more interview processes. If you get a chance to interview here, go for it. Probability of actually getting the job is incredibly slim, but it seems like a great place to work.

Interview
Contacted by HR for a phone screen. Senior analysts conduct many phone screens and each bring one candidate in, mix of fit and technical. Final round is with portfolio managers who focus on your interest for the position and company, your investment knowledge, stock pitches, weaknesses, and investment philosophy. Some portfolio managers just care about fit and will ask about your background and personality while others will ask technical questions. Because there is training I would say the non technical part is more important as the group is very close-knit.
Interview Questions
What are some changes to your investment process you change due to the recession?
