Interview
Initially attended & applied through their early access program impact. Got an interview from that which was a 1 on 1 with a senior director, all behavioral. Moved on from that to superday which was 3 consecutive mostly behavioral 1 on 1's with other directors/sr directors.

Everyone seemed super friendly and down to earth, definitely cares more about willingness to learn + fit more than anything.

I applied after the IMPACT program which gives you priority. First completed a hirevue with two basic behaviorals (why FTI, why RX?) Had a 1 on 1 Microsoft teams interview after, was scheduled for 30 mins but included introductions, small talk, and 10 mins for questions at the end. It was listed as a behavioral interview so I was asked the general TMAY, why FTI, why RX. Then was asked about ways to manage liquidity operationally which was one technical question. Heard back for super day one week later.
Interview Questions
I was not expected a technical question (it was a very easy one about liquidity management) but the interview was listed as solely behavioral

Started with a pre recorded interview. 2 questions tell me about yourself, why FTI.
Next round was a 1 on 1 interview with Senior Director. Started with intros then TMAY then talked about some stuff on my resume. Also asked some tell me about a time questions, leadership failed, etc.
Next round is a superday 3 back to back interviews with SD/MDs. Mix of behavioral and technicals. Make sure you know your story, why fti, consulting etc. Brush up on tell me about a time questions, lots of those are asked. A little bit of technical stuff was asked but really easy so long as you payed attention in classes (three statement stuff).

Really nice process overall and the people are really nice.
Interview Questions

Interview
It was a first round interview and was strictly behavioral.
These questions were asked:
"Can you give yourself a little introduction and tell me a bit about your background?"
"What sparked your interest in consulting and why FTI consulting specifically?"
"What drew you to the PRET practice of FTI and what experience do you have with the industries we serve?"
"What industry do you think is the most interesting within the energy industry?"
"Could you tell me about a time that you had to quickly absorb new information or adapt to a changing situation?"
"Could you tell me a bit more about your background in finance, accounting or business — and can you share specific examples of how you applied Excel, financial modeling or financial analysis?"
"How do you use AI in your day-to-day and what is your experience with it?"
"What kind of soft skills do you think you'll have to develop to succeed as an intern?"

Interview
First, I attended the prospective intern call where all the HR reps got together and talked about the company. I applied to the Corporate Finance Segments, but only got selected for a first round interview with the FDD team. I had interview questions like, "How does $10 affect the three financial statements," and a few behaviorals. Then I got a superday where I met with an associate and then two VPs/MDs, individually, back to back. It was mostly behavioral, focusing on a time I failed, what I learned, my most prized achievement, etc. I was also asked about coursework and my excel proficiency, but no technicals at this stage. After the interview I was sent a skills test on basic M&A accounting knowledge. Ultimately, I was rejected.
Interview Questions
The depreciation between the tree financial statements threw me off as I had just begun my intermediate accounting courses.

Interview
The recruitment process of FTI Capital Advisors is very disrespectful.
This is attributed to the fact that you complete a video interview within two days of applying. This video interview consisted of easy behavioral questions (TMABY, WHY FTI).
Then 5 weeks afterwards, I got an interview with an associate from Dubai even though I applied for the Johannesburg office, which did not make any sense. Normally, if you apply for the South African office, you conduct your interviews with an individual from the South African which wasn't the case in my application.

Most importantly, I was busy with my final exams when they gave me 3 days to prepare for this interview.
