What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
One 45 minute first-round with a Director in the M&A Advisory practice. Asked me basic behavioral questions like why I am interested in the firm, why me, about some past internships I did. Then followed by 2-3 technical questions similar to the 400q IB guide. These were walk me through the 3 statements, what would you consider when valuing a company etc.
2nd round was 2 45 min interviews with a senior director plus an MD. These followed the same format as the previous one with more technical questions.
