The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

TI then VI then AC with two interviews (technical, fit) and a group case study. Case study had c.5 questions answered by a team of four people. Covered things like considerations for if a company should acquire another, what would drive returns, risks etc. Information is bulky and you need to therefore move fast.

Interview
The application opened in early September, requiring a CV and written questions. These involved motivations, a deal of their's you're interested in and a research task to summarise a company. The first interview round then consisted of questions based on your motivations and general market knowledge and was fairly straight forward over 25 minutes. The second round was then much more in depth and technical, including questions on your market knowledge and technical questions that got consistently harder. I got rejected at this stage so am unfamiliar with the rest of the process. This was with Freshminds who were very friendly, and I also got the chance to meet some people at the company at a networking event.

Interview
Gleacher's applications are handled by Freshminds (as is for Greenhill too). Apparently, Freshminds has been handling Gleacher's process for years, so they have a good idea of what they are looking for.

I was at a target school invitational event and was urged to interview after chatting to the recruiters. So, my interview process took less than a month as they were looking to finish up the recruiting.

Consisted of a 1:1 behaviourals video interview (no Hirevues - praise the lord) and then if you passed, you had to complete a mathematical test. Then, you proceeded to a more technical 1:1 video interview (standard M&A stuff and brainteaser).

Then you would progress to the AC, which would consist of a group exercise and interviews with Partners.

Then offer.
Interview Questions
Out of nowhere, I got a brainteaser asking what's the square root of 5. Caught me offguard but thankfully my mental maths was still fine.
