The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
1st round was on-campus with an analyst and VP. 2nd Round was a super day. Asked a few technical questions, but mostly personally and fit focused.
Interview Questions
None of the questions were really that difficult or unexpected. If you prepare ahead of time, then you should be fine. One of the technical questions I was asked was how does an impairment flow through the three financial statements? Given the firm is oil and gas focused they probably have had to do adjust for this a lot recently due to declining commodity prices so the question made sense to ask. If you review the BIW question you should be fine though. Other than that questions were mostly conversational.

Interview
My interview process was very laid back and I was brand new to equity research at the time. The questions were about my willingness to work long hours, my skills with excel/bloomberg/factset/etc., and my ability to multitask. This really depends on the senior analyst that you're interviewing with specifically as some analysts required a full modeling test before being hired.
Interview Questions
The analyst was looking to hire someone quickly so my situation may have been unique, but no challenging questions were asked.

Job was posted on school's career website. The first round of interviews took place on campus, then followed an in-office "superday". Before it was all said and done, I managed to interview with nearly everyone in the office at least once.

The process timing seemed to trail the other energy banks by a few weeks.
Interview Questions
Very typical questions: Walk me through your resume, why banking, do you really want to live in NOLA, how do you value a company, walk me through a DCF (define FCF, calculate WACC, levered vs. unlevered betas), which financial statement(s) would you pick, define EBITDAR/EBITDAX, explain EV, etc.

Found the contact through the Yale Career Network. Spoke with a MD in the industrial sector who needed help with Macro research. But the only way GHS gives internships is if college credit is given. But my school does not give credit so no offer was given out.
Interview Questions
Give me your background in investment banking. Tell me some of the most recent events in the Industrials sector and how they are relevant to the investments that you have made yourself.
