Investment Banking Summer Analyst

I applied online for the posting intially. I heard back via email approximately 4 weeks later that I had been selected for a phone interview. The phone interview lasted approximately 30 minutes, with typical behavioral questions to begin with, such as "tell me about yourself" and "can you describe a challenging situation you were in and how did you overcome it."

The questions became slightly more technical near the end, with questions such as "Please describe the current situation of the capital markets", "Why Investment Banking?", "What do you think a pitchbook consists of?" and "Why GMP Securities?".

The interviewer thanked me for my time and indicated a yes/no decision would follow in the next week, which I received by telephone.
