Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had applied to their Early Careers program (January) and someone from recruiting reached out with this opportunity (early March) which was not normally in the scope of the Early Careers program, we had about a 20~ minute phone screen and later that week someone else reached out to set up a call with an associate on the team in the same position I'd be applying for. The call with the associate was pretty informal and more so to answer my questions on the role, on a scale of 1-10 I'd give that an 8. I sent him a thank you note and followed up with the recruiter, no response. I followed up again (early April) and after a week she told me that the team wanted to meet, and set the virtual superday up for late April.

The virtual superday was five 30 minute interviews (3 VPs, an MD, and an analyst), it was 50/50 behavioral/wealth management specific on prospecting new business and how I would source new leads. For the most part they seemed like a pretty fun group, I had a good rapport with 4/5 of them. Overall I think it went pretty well, but no word from the recruiter. I followed up with her again and about a week and a half later she got back to me (early May) that a couple more people wanted to talk to me and schedule two more interviews.

The last two interviews I did (Mid-May) were uncomfortable at best. The first one did not even turn on her camera and sounded like she was reading questions off a list- I had about 10 minutes left at the end of a 30 minute interview that I struggled to fill with questions or small talk, she could not sound less interested. The second one did ask some tougher questions than I expected, but I think he might have spent more time talking than me.

I noted the months throughout just because of how long this process took just to not hear anything back in the end, the amount of time waiting was unprofessional and disrespectful. It's late June now and I guess I'll just assume I didn't get the job.

My advice for interviewing with this team? Have a bunch of other opportunities in the works concurrently.
