Asset Management Intern

Goldman Sachs first came to my college campus and had an information session that was basically just a networking event. Everyone at the event was super nice and informative. They all seemed to genuinely enjoy their work and had a lot of positive things to say. I was amazed at how much energy some of them had after a long day at work. Through the event, I became interested in the Private Wealth Management section of the company, but I ended up applying to Investment Banking, Private Wealth, and Asset Management. In the end, I only got invited for an on-campus interview in GSAM. This was my first interview ever so I was quite surprised that it was a 2 on 1 format with two interviewers. They asked only behavioral questions on information from my resume, so be sure to know your resume inside and out. Also, be sure to take notes while they are explaining the company and basically on everything they say. It is a little hard to take notes when there's two interviewers and so no gaps, but it must be done.
